"I know I'm a dummy for leaving it all in there. Please help me anyway."
Melbourne synth-pop muso Pikelet — that is, Evelyn Morris — has revealed that she has had "literally almost all the gear [she] owns" stolen out of her car overnight, parked in the Melbourne suburb of Preston.
Initially publishing a panicked post a few hours ago — "ALL MY GEAR HAS BEEN STOLEN I'M AN IDIOT AND LEFT IT IN MY CAR. HELP I NEED TO FIND IT" — Morris then took to Facebook to outline exactly what she remembered was in her car.
Among the gear stolen were six pedals, an accordion, two keyboards, an African drum "with cow skin", a saxophone, black bongo drums, as well as many leads and microphones.
Morris writes, "This actually isn't everything. Just the top hits I can think of. I know I'm a dummy for leaving it all in there. Please help me anyway. I'm a very hard working musician and can't do my up coming album launch without some of this gear. Thank you."

Fans have already started a crowdfunding page to raise money for the gear, though Morris says, "who knows if I can crowd fund enough money for THIS MUCH it was literally almost all the gear I own". The GoFundMe has already picked up $5,000 of the $7,500 goal in about 18 hours.
