The veteran drummer says the legendary hard rockers are looking forward to hitting the road once more
AC/DC skinsmith Phil Rudd has confirmed that there is another AC/DC tour on the horizon in an interview with The Music, as the legendary hard rockers continue work on their forthcoming fifteenth studio full-length.
“There’s definitely going to be another AC/DC tour, which is part of the reason we can’t do any shows right now to back up Head Job,” he said, referring to his very-soon-to-be-released solo album.
“As for the new album, I’ve put down my rhythm tracks and I can tell you from what I heard when I was in the studio it was sounding great. I know how many tracks the band had when I was there but that could change with the final album. I keep in touch with Angus and I know everyone’s pretty happy with how the record is coming along and is looking forward to getting back on the road.”
There you have it — a road trip along the highway to Hell and beyond is happening for sure (despite concerns earlier this year the band would never perform live again), but that's about as detailed as the veteran drum-thumper is able to get for the moment, with plenty of details to be shored up before they can seriously consider getting out among the people once more.
