Port Macquarie's Festival of the Sun has announced the much anticipated “special guest” they have advertised since the release of their first lineup a few weeks ago, with Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamieson set to grace the acoustic stage.
According to FOTSUN promoters, the famous Aussie frontman will perform under the moniker of Phil Jamieson and The Shivering Fits, joined on stage by two or three legendary musicians to play an eclectic set.
According to the festival's management staff, they have been trying to snag Jamieson to join to the bill for years. Here's a taste of some classic Grinspoon to get you in the mood.
The outfit joins the Aussie-flavoured full bill, including some of the hottest acts around at the moment.

FOTSUN will take place on 14 – 15 December at the Sundowner Caravan Park, Part Macquarie. It's BYO alcohol event, but strictly no glass.
