Player lists for the inaugural Perth Reclink Community Cup have been unveiled.
Set to go down at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean on Sunday 31 August, two teams have been rounded up - one of musicians and the other consisting of media types.
The musicians’ team has been dubbed Bandgropers (genius), featuring the likes of Emperors’ Adam Livingston and Scalphunter’s Ash Rohde, and the music industry and media types have claimed The Newshounds as their title, hosting a wealth of talent from RTRFM, The Music’s Kane Sutton an others.
As you can see, the player lists are largely male orientated, and thus the event is searching for more “fine, female bad-asses on the field”. If you’re keen to get in on the actions, send an email to [email protected].
Training sessions have begun and captains, coaches and on-the-day performances will be announced shortly.
There will be a range of food and drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available on the day. Kicking off at 1pm on Sunday 30 August, tickets can be purchased via Oztix with all profits going to Reclink Australia.
