The heated battle goes down this Sunday.
The Perth leg of the Reclink Community Cup kicks off this Sunday, and the coaches, captains and live bands for the inaugural event have been announced.
The match will see industry types go head-to-head with artists under team names The Newshounds and The Bandgropers, and as the event creeps up, the final announcements are being rolled out.
Department Of Sport and Recreation director general Ron Alexander — who once coached East Fremantle Football Club and The Western Australian State Of Origin Teams - has been leading The Newshounds through training, while fellow WAFL/State Of Origin heavy hitter Peter Gianoli has been wrangling The Bandgropers.
Post-match entertainment will come in the form of live performances from Boom! Bap! Pow! and The Ghost Hotel, and here’s your Perth Reclink Community Cup captains:

There will be a range of food and drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available on the day. Kicking off at 1pm this Sunday, 30 August, at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean, tickets can be purchased via Oztix with all profits going to Reclink Australia.
