Periphery last week parted ways with Bois, with the band affirming that the decision was "amicable" between both parties.

"It was a mutual decision, it wasn't based on a fight. He's still one of my best friends, and it's really just lifestyle differences, just things he wants to accomplish and we honestly wish him the best," Periphery drummer Matt Halpern said.

Currently touring the UK, the group has already enlisted the services of a replacement guitarist. However, it is unclear who will be part of the Australian tour.

"We have an amazing guitar player who is filling in. His name is Adam 'Nolly' Getgood who has a band called Red Seas Fire and he's an incredible player and he has actually helped us out before," Halpern further added.

On the topic of a new full-length, bassist Tom Murphy briefly commented on the progress of the pending album, tentatively titled 'Juggernaut' and slated for a 2012 release.

"I'm really confident based upon what we've been turning out recently in the studio. The production is very, very different from what we've done before. Completely live drums. It sounds amazing…It's going to be really diverse. We're going to be able to branch out in more directions but at the same time keep our core fan base really happy," he said.
