Pendulum ProfileWhen the lineup for this year’s Yours & Owls festival was announced back in June, it was promised we’d see the appearance of a secret act billed among the headliners. The identity of that act was revealed today, and in one hell of a plot twist, it turns out it’s actually two massive names in Australian EDM: Flight Facilities and Pendulum.
Flight Facilities will perform a DJ set at the Illawarra festival – which this year runs over the weekend of October 14 and 15 at the University Of Wollongong – mining from cuts spanning from the 1970s to now for a live Decades mix. Pendulum, on the other hand, will perform live; the appearance comes as part of their fast-impending tour of Australian arenas (more on which you can read here).
The full lineup for Yours & Owls 2023 sports more than 100 performing artists, with a brain-melting 17 headliners on the itinerary. Included among them are the Canadian legends in Peach Pit, our Kiwi faves in Broods, the UK’s iconic Bakar, and a total of six genre-hopping visitors from the US of A: Descendents, Earl Sweatshirt, Hobo Johnson, Lil Tjay, Masego and Oliver Tree.
We’re also spoilt for choice when it comes to homegrown talent – bumping shoulders with all of those will be Chet Faker, Golden Features, Hilltop Hoods, Meg Mac, Ocean Alley, Safia and Vera Blue.
