The Electronic Music Conference's live showcase is doing some last-minute sprucing
Sydney's forthcoming Electronic Music Conference (EMC) Play showcase has blown out to truly epic proportions, building on the existing 120-act-strong line-up to squeeze in a handful of final drawcard headliners, including freshly minted ARIA winners Peking Duk, acclaimed producer Will Sparks, Melburnian wunderkind Joel Fletcher and Adelaide heavyweight Motez.
The new additions join an already esteemed roster of performers from around Australia's flourishing electronic scenes, such as LDRU, Yahtzel, Basenji, Cassian, Wave Racer and Tigerlily, with the two-night showcase serving as an opportunity for the country's leading dance labels, brands and collectives to host artist-led events across several venues (Soho Bar, X54 Studios, The Kings Cross Hotel and World Bar) throughout the city's renowned Kings Cross and Darlinghurst entertainment precinct.
EMC Play hits the city this Wednesday, December 3, running until Thursday, December 4. The wider Electronic Music Conference gets under way tomorrow, December 2, and will entail industry-focused panels, speeches, masterclasses and networking featuring the likes of Steve Aoki, Porter Robinson, Flume and many more.
EMC Play tickets are still available for $49, and include access to all fourteen showcases across the event's four official venues. You can grab EMC Play passes via Moshtix; or you can pick up an EMC Delegate pass for the full experience.
