Applications are now open for artists to perform at this year's Peats Ridge Sustainable Music and Arts Festival over the New Year's period.
In order to apply to play, artists just need to jump onto the festival's website and fill out the application form that is there. This, along with a recent CD/demo, needs to be submitted to the event organisers by Thursday 2 August.
Last year saw Gotye, Xavier Rudd, Salmonella Dub, Thundamentals and many, many more play the festival, while young up and comers like Husky, Oliver Tank and New Navy benefited greatly from the exposure they were given as a result of playing at the festival.
The festival will feature an audience of over 10,000 people on site, while the live stream, which was initiated last year and will return in 2012, saw them attract an extra 200,000 views over the course of the festival.
There were over 1000 applications for slots at the festival in 2011.
