Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder has given Australian fans some hope for the band's long awaited return Down Under.
The US artist called in as a guest on NOVA's Chrissie, Sam & Browny show yesterday as part of their 'Celebrity Chase' segment, with Vedder saying that an Australian tour could be likely post-COVID.
"Any hope of seeing Pearl Jam [here] in the next 18 months, Ed?" asked co-host Browny.
"You know, actually because of the circumstance and because of the way you handled it," responded Vedder, "in some ways I could say with confidence it could be the first place we play."
"It would be exciting for us too."
