Byron Bay metalcore heroes Parkway Drive have been listed as being in the top 20 hardest working bands on the planet by a live music and technology company called Songkick. According to the study, which takes into consideration distance travelled by each band and the amount of times a band appears on a bill, Parkway Drive came in at number 19 for 2010.

Florida pop punkers Mayday Parade came in at number one, having played more shows (194) than any other band last year. New York indie outfit Vampire Weekend managed to travel the furthest, the study finding that the distance they covered in 2010 was over half way to the moon. Amongst the other artists were Lady Gaga, B.O.B, and 30 Seconds To Mars.
