Brisbane's beloved Paniyiri Greek Festival is readying for its 40th with another year of delicious events.
To start they have released The 40th Anniversary Paniyiri Cookbook, curated by The Greek Orthodox Southside Parish Ladies Auxiliary, Greek YiaYias (grandmothers) from the Community, the Paniyiri Committee, leading Greek authors and from some of Brisbane's leading chefs and restaurants. The famous Paniyiri Cooking Program is back and this year features several amazing cooks including Jocelyn Hancock of Jocelyn's Provisions and Cake & Bake, Australia's Greek Princess, Effie, and the authors of Mediterranean Eating: Cook | Eat | Live Lisa Peterson and Desi Carlos. Flavours on the Paniyiri Park will also return with more than 30 food stalls celebrating all the regions and flavours of Greece.
