"It got so bad that I didn't feel safe in my own home."
Following a blockbuster headline tour here last month and even a stint presenting at the 2017 Grammy Awards, Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie has revealed that "constant harassment" from fans has forced him to move out of his "dream home".
In a statement posted on Twitter, Urie says, "Three years ago I bought a house. A dream home, really. I had a studio built in part of the house, wrote an album there, jumped off the roof into the pool countless times. It was incredible."
He details that since his address was public, he would receive fan letters and gifts which "never bothered [him]". Soon they progressed to "visits and constant harassment from fans".
"It got so bad that I didn't feel safe in my own home," Urie says, finally making the decision to move houses.

Fan harassment is not new for Urie, who was mobbed at Sydney Airport last month when arriving for their Australian tour. At the time, Urie had an anxiety attack and said he "couldn't breathe" and was trapped in "his own private hell".
"I only hope this sheds light on what inappropriate behavior looks like. Boundaries are boundaries for a reason. Everyone has a right to feel safe and everyone has an obligation to be happy. So I'm taking my family somewhere that might make this a possibility," Urie continues.
