She'll be back in May next year for a five-date run of shows
Renowned Brit chanteuse Paloma Faith has announced that she will return to Australia in 2015 to make her debut tour of the country.
Faith, who is currently Down Under on a promotional tour for her recent, incredibly successful full-length A Perfect Contradiction (out via Sony Music Australia), will undertake her antipodean odyssey in May next year, getting things rolling at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Tuesday, May 5. From there, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer will grace stages in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide, before making a final stop at the Concert Hall, in Perth, on Saturday, May 16.
A Perfect Contradiction was only released in March this year, but has already become Faith’s best-selling album to date, spurred on by strong chart performances (it reached the top five on the ARIA albums chart) and generous airplay support for singles such as the Pharrell Williams-penned Can’t Rely On You and the consequent Only Love Can Hurt Like This, which was written by legendary US songwriter Diane Warren and was responsible for giving faith her first #1 single not only in Australia but around the world.
Tickets for all of Paloma Faith’s forthcoming Australian shows go on sale from 9am next Friday, September 12. My Live Nation Members can have their pre-sale go at passes a full week earlier, from midday this Friday, September 5. See the Live Nation website for more info on how to sign up for that perk.
