Sydney four-piece Palms (not to be confused with the Chino Moreno fronted Californian band of the same name) have released a new track, with the group also announcing a new record deal.
Single 'Bad Apple' has premiered via a new music video (view below) and will feature on the band's forthcoming sophomore album.
"It's more like a stream of consciousness, just rambling through the daily thoughts in my head: beers, hanging out, whoever I'm crushing on, bands I love, my friends, the past, the future, feeling proud, feeling insecure, and back to bands I love. And then it's all set to this propulsive rhythm that just races along, never quitting until the song runs out. Kind of like a heartbeat, I guess," singer/guitarist Al Grigg comments.
In further news, the Sydneysiders have inked a deal with Ivy League Records.
Palms will perform, as part of an FBi radio party, at The Gladstone on July 16.
