P.O.D complete work on new album

Christian hard rockers P.O.D. (PAYABLE ON DEATH) have completed work on their new album. The CD was recorded with longtime producer Howard Benson, who also helmed the group's massive "Satellite" CD and has worked on major hit releases for such artists as 3 Doors Down, Kelly Clarkson, All-American Rejects, and My Chemical Romance.

The CD was recorded with longtime producer Howard Benson, who also helmed the group's massive "Satellite" album and has worked on major hit releases for such artists as 3 Doors Down, Kelly Clarkson, All-American Rejects and My Chemical Romance.


P.O.D.'s last album, "When Angels & Serpents Dance", sold 34,000 in the United States in its first week of release in April 2008 to debut at position No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart.

The band's previous CD, "Testify", registered a first-week tally of just over 54,000 back in February 2006 to land at No. 9.


The band will also be on tour next month down under and will be playing as apart of Easterfest.
