At The Music, we believe in not only bringing you the best tunes from the industry's heavy hitters but also bolstering the up-and-comers so that soon enough, they take over the big stage, and we can sit back and say we told you so.
That’s why we’re taking our Underground Playlists to the next level, with some help from our friends at Mountain Goat Beer, who love Aussie music just as much as we do.
Going forward, we will continue to add our favourite tunes from up-and-coming artists to our Underground Playlists, but we’ll pick out five artists each week that stand out in the crowd and give them a little extra love on both our website and our socials.
That way, you get to know the best of the bunch, and we get to support some incredible emerging artists; it's a win-win.
Charlie Needs Braces' ‘Daryung’ features in our Victoria Underground Playlist
We pride ourselves on creating genre-diverse playlists with only one goal: to bring you the best music from each state's local scene.
Whether you’re a Melbourne dance music die-hard and want to expand your horizons with some local indie rock bands or you’re a Queensland country fan looking to find some like-minded music in the Northern Territory, we’ve got you covered.
TOWNS' ‘98’ features in our South Australia Underground Playlist
Strap yourself in as we kick things off next week, and we can’t wait to bring you some of the best local artists that Australia has to offer.
If you’re an artist looking to feature on one of our state playlists, please submit your music here.
You can check out the Underground Playlists - Powered by Mountain Goat - on Spotify and Apple Music.
