Otep To Bring Their Metal Activism To Australia

Alternative metal band Otep will tour Australia in April 2013.

The Los Angeles based band will be releasing their sixth studio album Hydra sometime in January, so Aussie fans can expect to hear plenty of new material on the tour.

Otep formed in late 2000 and experienced a meteroic rise to fame after they were invited to play a set at Ozzfest, which marked only their eighth gig as a band.The band is known for their intense and high-energy live show, as well as lead singer Otep Shamaya's activist work.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 29 November at 9am through The Hi-Fi and Moshtix.
