Sydney Oslow fans will wanna take note of these dates.
Post-punk/emo quartet Oslow have just announced a hometown album launch show on Saturday, March 11th at the Newtown Social Club for their next album. This will be fans’ first opportunity to see their new songs live in what will be Oslow's first headline show of 2017, more of which are sure to come!
With this new record of theirs, Oslow encompasses the 2000s indie/pop-punk tendencies and grovels at the boots of those that have come before them such as Brand New and Title Fight. The four-piece teamed up with Aussie producer/engineer Dylan Adams (DMA’s, James Blake), Oslow – Dylan Farrugia (vocals, bass), Jacob Rossi (guitar, vocals), Sean Hampstead (guitar, vocals) and Alex Ashtiani (drums) – has crafted 11 anthemic tracks of fuzzy guitar riffs, dreamy counter-melodies with earnest, heartfelt lyrics that don't feel like a phoned-in lyrical wank fest.
The quartet will also be hosting an instore show at Beatdisc Records in Sydney's Parramatta next Friday to help celebrate the release of their self-titled album. Whiiiiiiiiicccccchhhhhhhh will be out February 10th through Resist Records.
Before then, suss out the record's first single, 'Cold Dark Space' below. Their self-titled album is available for pre-order via Resist Records now.
