Osaka PunchBrisbane five-piece musical chameleons Osaka Punch have spent the past two years based in London, touring the UK and Europe, but mid-October, they're back.
They're coming home to launch a new EP, Mixed Ape, and an accompanying film clip for their current single, Bender, as well as revisit tracks from their 2012 debut album, Voodoo Love Machine. The new EP was recorded with internationally renowned audio engineer Andrea Wright (Coldplay, Anathema, Elbow).
Osaka Punch now sport a new bass player, Brenton Page, best know for his work with The Tea Party's Jeff Martin as well as prog-rockers Vayer. Supporting them at their only Australian show, in hometown Brisbane, are Sydney's Shanghai and locals RVLR. For details, go to theGuide.
