Composer Bernard Houston brings together Indigenous art from Quandamooka man Craig Tapp with an original soundtrack from Orsino's Safari for his Brisbane Fringe production Ripples In The Sand.
Orsino's Safari's world music will combine with Tapp's sand art on 25 August at 7.30pm at Jugglers Artspace in Fortitude Valley. Moreton Bay man Tapp's art practice, in this case using coloured mineral grains from Stradbroke Island, straddles includes jewellery carving and design from natural materials, natural sand art designs, and acrylic on canvas works, while Orsino's Safari's world music is inspired by the sounds of Paris, South America and the Middle East.
