Opeth to record new album

Opeth will start recording their 10th studio album in January.

Opeth, kings of melodic death metal will start  recording of their tenth studio album on the 31st January 2011.

Recording will be done at Stockholm's Atlantis studios with Jens Bogren handling engineering duties. Steven Wilson (Porcupine tree) will again be doing all the mixing, basicaly guaranteeing another stellar metal release. Possible worldwide release mid-late next year through Roadrunner Records.

This one jumps straight to the top of the list for the most anticpated albums of next year, anyone who has seen their recently released 20th anniversary concert DVD would be sure to agree.
