Opeth Announce Australian Leg Of 'Sorceress' World Tour

Don't miss out on a second chance to see the Swedish metal masters

More Opeth Opeth

Aussie fans of the Scandinavia masters of metal Opeth were no doubt stoked in August when the band announced a special appearance Down Under at the Sydney Opera House for next year.

However, massive demand for tickets saw the gig sell out in record time, leaving many fans disappointed. Anyone unable to get their hands on tickets to the Sydney gig have a second chance to catch Opeth on home turf, as the band announced this morning the Australian and New Zealand legs of their upcoming world tour to spruik their new album, Sorceress, which drops later this month.

The Swedish five-piece, who last came to Aus in 2015, will be back in February 2017, visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Pre-sale tickets go on sale on 14 Sep, with general public sales the following day on Sep 15. Be sure to get in early, as demand promises to be ferocious.

Sorceress is released September 30, with all accompanying tour dates in theGuide.
