OpenLIVE Wins Sound & Image Innovation Of The Year Award

OpenLIVE's Masterbuilder has won the Innovation Of The Year award at the 2016 Sound & Image Awards.

The live audio recording infrastructure picked up the award from the industry-leading ceremony which celebrates excellence in design, manufacture and installation of audio and home entertainment equipment.

OpenLIVE co-founder Richard Powell said of the win, "We're hugely honoured to accept this award."

"The ultimate outcome for what MasterBuilder delivers brilliant Hi-Res recordings that will sound amazing through Hi-Res audio devices such as Yamaha’s MusicCast system that won multiple awards on the night."

The Masterbuilder recording hardware which delivers Hi-Res live recordings to fans has been in development for over a year and began rolling into local music venues in 2015.
