One Day Stand Up For Young & Pretty Ears Everywhere With Their 'Block Party' Tour

Uh... We think that's what's happening?

More One Day One Day

Beloved Aussie supergroup One Day are bringing back their super-popular series of shindigs with the 2016 One Day Block Party Tour, kicking off in Adelaide from late next month.

The ensemble made the announcement yesterday evening in typically irreverent style, hitting their Facebook page with a video of the ever-charismatic Joyride delivering a faux political press conference

"For too long, decent young Australians have been calling for a leader that understands them, and for too long those calls have fallen upon baby boomers' increasingly deaf and hairy ears," he says in the clip. "Well, we're here to say that our young, and our pretty, ears hear and see you!

"That's why we've created the One Day Block Party: myself and the rest of the One Day DJs will be taking the party to cities and towns across Australia to connect with you, the people.

"We cannot wait to visit the rest of this great land and spread our message, and celebrate what it is to be a young and open-minded Australian."

Following the tour's first stop in South Australia (on Saturday 29 October), the One Day Block Party juggernaut will hit stages in Perth, Townsville, Airlie Beach, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Perth again,  Dunsborough, Newcastle, Albury, Gosford and Canberra, where they bring the roadshow to a close at Westside Village on Sunday 18 December.

If you're like apparently everyone else from Sydney, you've probably noticed that your city is absent from that line-up, though One Day have since advised they are "working on it", so stay tuned.

Tickets for all shows are available via One Day's Block Party website.
