OffsetAmerican rapper Offset has been hospitalised after getting shot in Florida on Monday (6 April), ABC News reports. A spokesperson for the rapper and the police confirmed that his condition is currently “stable.”
The Seminole Police Department confirmed that a shooting took place after 7 pm in the valet area outside the local Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Two individuals have since been detained as part of an ongoing investigation.
Offset’s spokesperson said, “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”
The Seminole Police Department told USA Today that the rapper had not experienced “non-life-threatening injuries.”
The police added that they arrived “immediately” and the situation was contained “quickly.” “The site is secure, and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal,” their statement concluded.

Offset’s close friend and Migos bandmate, Takeoff, passed away at the age of 28 after getting shot outside a bowling alley in Houston in November 2022. The suspect, Patrick Clark, has maintained his innocence. He faces trial this November, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Offset, 34, is a father of six children—three of whom he shares with ex-wife Cardi B: seven-year-old Kulture, four-year-old Wave, and one-year-old Blossom.
The pair separated in 2023 and filed for divorce in December 2024. At the time, it was reported that the decision was “a long time coming” and the couple had “disconnected” from each other.
The rapper’s most recent album, KIARI, was released in August 2025.
