5 Seconds Of Summer Announce 2015 Aus/NZ Tour

World-beating Australian pop-punk prodigies 5 Seconds Of Summer have announced that they will return Down Under for an eagerly awaited run of all-ages shows here and in New Zealand – but fans will have to wait until June next year for the opportunity to catch them in the flesh.

Having very recently pulled off two sold-out appearances at the renowned Wembley Arena in London, the ascendant adolescents will kick off their very first headline arena tour of Australia and New Zealand – titled the Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour – with a performance at Auckland’s Vector Arena on June 18, 2015, and taking in shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth along the way.

Expect tickets to move quickly for this one when they go on sale at midday, next Friday, July 25 – the boys’ previous seven-date headline Aussie tour sold out in minutes, and their arena tour of the UK alongside fellow international juggernauts One Direction did similar business.

However, if you’re a My Live Nation member, you can get in even earlier, on Tuesday, July 22, from 4pm, to have a stab at your pre-sale opportunity.

The band’s self-titled debut album recently made its debut at #1 in the ARIA Albums Chart as well in eight other countries, as well as stepping out at #2 in the UK and Sweden.
