NWA's DJ Yella Announces Huge Australian Tour

Hip hop legend and one of the founding members of pioneering rap group NWA, DJ Yella has revealed he'll be heading to our antipodean shores this November for a huge solo tour.

In addition in NWA, DJ Yella worked on producing Eazy-E's solo album as well as three of NWA's full-lengths too. More recently, he ventured into production in the film industry and eventually contributed to the wildly successful Straight Outta Compton.

DJ Yella will first do a short run in New Zealand before hitting Brisbane on Sunday, 22 November, Newcastle on Wednesday, 25 November, Sunshine Coast on Thursday, 26 November, Adelaide on Friday, 27 November, Perth on Saturday, 28 November and Sydney on Sunday, 29 November.

When we interviewed Ice Cube last month when he was in town to promote Straight Outta Compton, he mentioned he wanted to make music with the remaining NWA members, including DJ Yella.
