Calling all metal fans, a once in a lifetime opportunity has risen

More Nuclear Assault More Nuclear Assault

Good news: US thrash metal band Nuclear Assault will be coming to Australian shores for an east coast shred next February. Bad news: this will be the only time they'll be making the trip over the pond, as the band are calling it quits after over 30 years together.

The New York City band have played on some of the best stages in the world with their six studio albums and five EPs in hand, and are finally giving Australian metal fans a chance to catch their tunes before their instruments are placed on the wall.

Formed by founding member of Anthrax Dan Lilker, he says of Nuclear Assault's maiden voyage: "We're going out with a bang!"

The band will be heading to Melbourne on 22 February next year, before moving on to Brisbane and Sydney.
