Broadwing cleans up at this year's ceremony

The fourth annual Northern Territory Song Of The Year winners have been announced, with alternative indie act Broadwing, aka Ben Allen, walking away with three awards, including Overall Song Of The Year.

Allen also scored best folk song and best electronic/dance piece at tonight’s ceremony, which was held at the NT Museum And Art Gallery.

Winner from Katherine, Alice Springs, Tiwi Islands, Darwin, Arnhem Land and Milingimbi were all recognised for the work, and indigenous talent was in no shortage, with Bathurst To Melville, Stanley Gawurra Gaykamangu and more claiming awards.
