Nothing More are 'Tired of Winning' with new single/video
One of the most jaw-dropping live performances I have EVER seen was Nothing More's Soundwave performance in 2015. I genuinely could not take my eyes off them and my jaw off the germ-riddle ground of the RNA showgrounds in Brisbane. They've dropped their new single/video 'Tired of Winning' - and it's slice of sweet rock.
Today, Nothing More have dropped their newest alt-rock/metal banger - and it's called 'Tired of Winning' and frankly, they must be talking about being tired of writing some of the BEST modern heavy music so effortlessly. The goddamn TALENT in this band, seriously. You can hear the track below, and the video drops in 4 hours - it's embedded at the bottom! They are also releasing an album in 2022, that this is the first "official" single from? But "Turn it Up Like" dropped in March... so I guess it remains to be seen if that's on the album too? Regardless, it's a hot start to an album cycle.
If you don't take my word for it, Kerrang! named NOTHING MORE one of 22 Artists Shaping the Future of Rock, alongside Nine Inch Nails, Twenty One Pilots, and Bring Me The Horizon. And frontman Jonny Hawkins, who met guitarist Mark Vollelunga before they were old enough to drive, appeared with Billie Joe Armstrong, Dave Grohl, and Hayley Williams in the English tastemaker’s Top 50 Greatest Rockstars in the World.
They've had a half dozen Top 10 singles at Mainstream Rock Radio, including the No. 1 hit “Go to War” and theSirius XM Octane song of the decade and Active Rock chart-topper “This is the Time (Ballast).” The Stories We Tell Ourselves earned a head-turning three Grammy nominations. They’re set to follow it up with a new album in 2022, which is filled with their most philosophical and primal music to date.
