Kicking off this June.

More In Hearts Wake More In Hearts Wake

In what is set to be a massive celebration of Australia's heavy music scene, Sydney outfit Northlane and Byron Bay's In Hearts Wake will be teaming up this June for a string of headline shows, coined The Equinox Tour.

Kicking off the tour at Metro City in Perth (10 June), the bands will then move on to perform at Adelaide's Thebarton Theatre (11 June), Melbourne's Festival Hall (12 June), The Tivoli in Brisbane (17 June) and Luna Park in Sydney (18 June).

Commenting on teaming up with Northlane, In Hearts Wake vocalist Jake Taylor said, As our paths have crossed over the years the timing is finally right to embark on a co-headline tour that we've dreamt up together.

"It’s hard to think that it all started in a ghetto garage many years ago and here we are now."

Northlane guitarist Josh Smith echoed Taylor's thoughts.

"We always want to be on the road with those guys but I think the fact that we’re both now in a pretty similar stage in our career makes it the right time to do something like this in Australia," Smith said.

"I can’t contain my excitement for this tour. We've never done anything like it before and who better to be doing it with than our best mates. I’ll cherish the memories of this tour forever."

Joining the tour as support acts will be Canberra rockers Hands Like Houses and Melbourne act Ocean Grove.

Telstra customers will have access to pre-sale tickets from 10am this Friday (click here for more details), before they go on sale to the general public from 10am on Tuesday, 8 March.

Limited VIP packages will also be available for each show, which include meet & greet options, as well as early entry and exclusive merchandise.
