No Joke - Alex Dyson Is Running In The Upcoming Federal Election

As if opening a bar and launching a podcast in recent months wasn’t enough, former triple j host Alex Dyson has thrown his hat in the ring for the upcoming federal election.

That’s right, the Warrnambool ex-pat, affectionately known as Ratdog, will appear on the Wannon federal election ballot next month, according to Standard.

Dyson’s shift into politics was under wraps until this morning, when the ballot was drawn at the Warrnambool election office.

"I think people are a bit disillusioned," Dyson said, adding: "It's good to be a voice for all people.”

The federal election will take place on May 18.
