Two Deaths At US Concert Following Crowd Stampede

Nine people were injured and one person has died at a GloRilla concert in New York.

The concert took place at Main Street Armory in Rochester N.Y. 

After the show ended, crowds began to surge to the exits after rumours spread that someone had been shot or attacked inside. 

Two people have since passed away from the crush. Seven others suffered injuries according to authorities. 

At a news briefing Police Chief David M. Smith said that "We do not have any evidence of gunshots being fired or of anyone being shot or stabbed at the scene."

Mayer Malik Evans said, “We are going to hold people accountable for what happened last night, period.”

GloRilla acknowledged the incident on Twitter early this morning stating, “I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf. Praying everybody is ok.”

Speaking to a rochester TV station, one concert goer, Ikea Hayes said, “I was watching my life flash before my eyes, and I still didn’t even know what was going on,” describing that she was, “on the ground, just scared, praying, like, you got to get up, you got to move.”
