Night Hag announce album launch tour

Adelaideʼs dark hardcore band, Night Hag, has announced their first East Coast tour to coincide with the release of their debut album, ʻGilded Ageʼ, set to be released mid-July on Capitalgames Records.

ʻGilded Ageʼ expands upon the blackmetal/hardcore sound witnessed on the ʻNew Touristsʼ EP, released in only April 2011. The band has retained the frantic energy and expressiveness of hardcore, but developed the blackmetal guitar sound that has become symbolic of the band.

Jimmy Balderston (drummer for Sex Wizard, Craterface, ex-A Secret Death) recorded the album at Capitalsound Studios, who was also responsible for the ʻNew Touristsʼ EP. Chicagoʼs Carl Saff (Coliseum, Young Widows) mastered the album.

The first leg of the ʻGilded Age East Coast Tourʼ will begin 15 July in Brisbane, and will conclude in Adelaide on 30 July. Please find the tour schedule below.

Despite existing for only a year-and-a-half, Night Hag has self-released their demo, released the ʻNew Touristsʼ EP through Capitalgames Records, and toured from Rockhampton to Canberra, cementing their status of one of Adelaideʼs hardest working hardcore bands.
