More Nick Cave Nick Cave Profile

The legendary Nick Cave has announced he'll be bringing his speaking tour to Australia in 2019.

Conversations With Nick Cave debuted in the US and Ireland earlier this year, which combined music and discussion with the audience. Cave will now bring the show to Aus, with the promise of taking questions from the audience and performing some of his favourite tracks.

"I thought that a direct conversation with the audience might be valuable," said Cave of the shows, "In the recent live shows we have all shown a kind of willingness to open up."

The tour will kick off at the Performing Arts Centre in Wangaratta on 5 January before visiting Odeon Theatre in Hobart, the Sydney Opera House, HOTA on the Gold Coast and Brisbane City Hall, before heading over to New Zealand for two shows.

Cave will then return to Australia for a show at Melbourne Town Hall on 19 January, then head to Adelaide Town Hall and Perth Concert Hall.

Tickets for the tour go on sale from 9am on Thursday 18 October, check theGuide for more info.
