Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds have revealed details of their upcoming fifteenth studio album, Push The Sky Away.
The follow-up to 2008’s Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! was produced by Nick Launay (who produced Dig!!! and both Grinderman albums) at La Fabrique, France, and is due out in February next year. The first single, ‘We No Who U R’, is released December 3. It’s also the first album not to feature founding member Mick Harvey, who left the band in 2009.
"If I were to use that threadbare metaphor of albums being like children, then Push The Sky Away is the ghost-baby in the incubator and Warren's loops are its tiny, trembling heart-beat," observes Nick Cave in a press release.
