Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Announce 2013 Tour

Kicks off following Push The Sky Away's release

Fresh off announcing the band's next album, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have today revealed an Australian tour to coincide with the record's release.

Push The Sky Away, the band's fifteenth studio album, will be released Friday 15 February. The national tour will kick off Tuesday 26 February at the first of two Sydney Opera House shows.

The Sydney Opera House has also announced today that the band, featuring Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Jim Sclavunos, Thomas Wydler, Martyn Casey, Ed Kuepper and Conway Savage will be joined by members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney dates.

Tour dates are as follows:

Tuesday 26 February – Sydney Opera House
Wednesday 27 February – Sydney Opera House
Saturday 2 March – Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne
Sunday 3 March – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
Wednesday 6 March – Red Hill Auditorium, Perth
Friday 8 March – Riverstage, Brisbane
