Ngaiire, Remi & More Take To The Mountains For 2016 Perisher Peak Fest

The eighth annual Perisher Peak Festival is all set for the June long weekend with more than 30 domestic and international artists on the bill.

Future-soul singer Ngaiire, Melbourne rapper Remi and New Zealand's Matiu "The Hook" Te Huki are among the headliners at the event, which will feature performances across 10 live stages,

Program director Dave De Santi is excited about the talent on offer in this year's line-up.

"We have put together an amazing line-up of Australian and international artists to entertain festival-goers of all ages with over 130 performances in venues from cosy lounges to headline acts on the Main Stage," De Santi said in a statement.

Hot off the back of her new single Diggin, Ngaiire will bring her unique vocals and outrageous costumes to the snowy locale. Remi and collaborator Sensible J are also set to wow crowds and show why they are one of the fastest-rising hip-hop acts in the country.

Other performers include indie-folk darlings Tinpan Orange, eclectic beats group OKA, A French Butler Called Smith, The Protesters and from the US, Allensworth.

The Peak Upload competition will return to crown 2016's Peak Artist, providing a platform for up-and-coming music talent. Community groups and the South East Arts Youth Stage will also entertain festival-goers.
