Well we have one! 

Do you want to join our team of music tragics working to raise the profile of great musicians and build passionate music communities? 

SGC Media are the custodians of a suite of music publications including TheMusic.com.au, Purple Sneakers, Countrytown and Kill Your Stereo. We are looking for a full time news editor to join our team.

We like permanent employees because we think humans work better when they can have holidays and be sick without worrying about paying their rent. We run a hybrid office. We are based in Brisbane and would love to have you join us Queenslanders so we have an extra at Friday lunch club, however we also have work-from-home editorial staff in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Whether you're in Fortitude Valley or Kalgoorlie, if you have the passion and knowledge of music, can write meticulous and fast copy and can contribute to where you think we can take music journalism into the future, we want to hear from you.

The successful applicant will likely have experience writing for similar publications or display a flair for writing and an understanding of what makes stories click. And I said it before, but you have to be a music freak. If you are one you'll know what I mean.
