For the fourth consecutive year, LTEC will once again romp into the New Year of 2016 in a slick, stylish and sexy fashion. Situated at the sublime gardens of Werribee Mansion, just 30 minutes from Melbourne, Cake has a focus on delivering a festival with uncompromising attention to detail, a stellar lineup of both international and local talent and an eclectic array of food and art.
Since Let Them Eat Cake are promising "to expand on its theme of architectural abstract-ism, a commentary on design aesthetics paired with an intelligent, minimalist celebration of electronica, with a soupcon of doof kitsch thrown in for good measure." Com Truise (USA) - Whether it's through remixes or originals, this guy has managed to put a mechanical, yet melancholic spin on electronica every time - glitchy perfection.
Daniel Avery (UK) - With backing from Erol Alkan of all people, Avery is well one his way to be one of the biggest names in techno - haunting and minimal yet thumping and pulsating.
Four Tet (UK) - Fuck, what can I even say, you know it, I know it - he's a god.
Jon Hopkins (UK) - One of the most versatile electronic artists around today, Hopkins can create cinematic scores, atmospheric synth lines, bright melodies and dark pounding downtempo house.
Machinedrum (USA) - Heavy, erratic and layered, that's what you get in a Machinedrum track - always so much depth and always will probably melt your face off in the process.
Motor City Drum Ensemble (GER) - Not sure what to expect with him, as he's not only an amazing house producer, he's also an amazing selector - get ready for retro grooves, future beats and everything in between.
Seven Davis Jr (USA) - Um, the best I can come up with is 'Mechanical R&B Grooves', it might sound wrong, but it feels so right - shitloads of fun to come from him.
