It might be March, meaning it's now autumn, but the team behind Summer Sounds are bringing Summer(ish) Sounds to Brisbane next month!
It might be March, meaning it's now autumn, but that hasn't stopped the team behind Summer Sounds bringing their festival to Meanjin/Brisbane for its own leg, set to be held at the much loved Riverstage in April and May. Aptly dubbed Summer(ish) Sounds, the festival has announced four dates with stellar line ups.
Summer(ish) Sounds will kick off on April 23rd, with a triple-header for psych/rock fans with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Tropical Fuck Storm and The Murlocs all set to take to the Riverstage, before The Avalanches and special guests will perform on Friday, April 30th. Hometown heroes Violent Soho will be joined by Tired Lion and Seathru and are bound to tear it up when they play the festival on Saturday, May 1st, before Ball Park Music and special guests deliver another hometown spectacle on Monday, May 3rd.
Tickets for Summer(ish) Sounds go on sale Thursday, 25th March at 10am local time, with presales going live Wednesday, 24th March. For all information, head HERE.
