Brisbane's Summer(ish) Sounds has grown even bigger with two extra dates announced for WA rockers Spacey Jane as well as a whole lot more.
Set to kick off this weekend on April 23rd, Meanjin/Brisbane's brand spankin' new festival series Summer(ish) Sounds is getting even bigger. The series, which will run across six different dates, is set to bring mini-festival sized line ups to the city's iconic Riverstage for a one-stage, no-clashes return to major live music events.
Kicking off with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, the psych rockers will be joined by Tropical Fuck Storm and The Murlocs on April 23rd, before Spacey Jane takes over for two nights on April 24th and 25th. They'll be joined by Jess Day and The Moving Stills on both dates, ahead of a mega show on April 30th with The Avalanches playing live and supported by The Kite String Tangle and CLYPSO.
Saturday, May 1st, will see the Riverstage taken over by Mansfield's finest, Violent Soho, with support from Tired Lion and Beddy Rays, before the festival wraps up with Ball Park Music, Alex The Astronaut, Sycco and Hope D all on the one bill come Monday, May 3rd.
Tickets are moving fast for these shows, so don't delay. Check out all the information below!
