The good people of the MusicNSW Youth Committee have been hard at work curating an all-ages accessible series of gigs in Sydney. New & The Now will all up host six all-ages, alcohol-free events programmed by young people, for young people.

They launched the program at the start of April with their first instalment of the series, bringing in Cry Clube4444eKymie and Rydeen to kick it all off. The first instalment really showed how genre-fluid this series will be, and their second instalment hosts another group of wildly talented artists, all making markedly similar music.

#2 will be going down on Saturday, May 4, kicking off at 6PM and ending at the ripe ol' time of 9.30PM at 107 Projects in Redfern. Garage rock outfit Sunscreen are on the bill, as well as synth-pop duo Greenwave Beth and Western Sydney's electro-soul angel Clarissa Mei and DJ Kilimi.
