Naarm/Melbourne based New Years festival Let Them Eat Cake has today returned with a fresh new lineup for their 2022 rendition of the festival. The festival is promised to be a melting pot of music, art, cuisine, and community inviting guests to look forward into the future and reflect on the tough year that was. The lineup showcases some of the best talent from the local electronic world, from indie crossover acts to some of the biggest underground names in the country.
On the more mainstream tilt sits Confidence Man alongside 6-man band and party machine Northeast Party House. Not to mention Young Franco too, one of Australia's fastest growing producers. Underground international toured names take up the bulk of the lineup. From disco dance royalty Late Nite Tuff Guy and CC:DISCO! to trance don Papa Smurf. Club mainstays also pack the lineups bottom end, including Naarm's Merve and Warrang/Sydney fan favourite's Ben Fester and Adi Toohey.
As Let Them Eat Cake director Daniel Teuma explains, there is not much you can do but take it day by day: 'Yes, it's been hard. Not doing the festival in 2021 was a real blow for our team. However, we focussed on staying positive by making practical use of this time. We want to ensure this is our best one yet.'
