New Zealand's Beastwars Announce Two Australian Shows Following Hiatus

Following their two-year break.

More Beastwars Beastwars

New Zealand's Beastwars are set to make their return to Aus this November with two headline shows.

The group have recently returned following a two-year hiatus following frontman Matt Hyde's diagnosis with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Hyde is now in remission and the band are heading out on tour in celebration.

"Being in remission is a blessing," said Hyde.

"The amount of fans that reached out to me while I was ill was mind blowing. I never thought that there were so many people that our music had touched and connected with. While health is on my side we thought that we should play some shows again. It's crazy that getting sick is the thing that has brought us back together."

Beastwars will play two headline shows while in Australia - one at The Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne and one at Frankie's Pizza By The Slice in Sydney - as well as supporting Shihad on their 30th anniversary tour.
