More Watsky More Watsky

US hip-hop sensation Watsky has signed on with Australian independent booking agency New World Artists for live representation in the country ahead of his pending world tour announcement.

Signing on with the same team that represent Drapht, Illy, Allday, Spit Syndicate and Jackie Onassis amongst others, the rapper — who got his start through viral YouTube videos — will be visiting Australia in December accompanied by a six-piece band in support of his new record, All You Can Do. The record will be released August 13 via Caroline, with the world tour to be announced the same day.

New World Artists managing agent Owen Orford hoped the partnership would unlock Watsky’s long term touring goals within Australia.

“[Watsky's] uniquely talented with superb articulation and charismatic delivery who is not afraid to back himself. He absolutely knows his audience and maintains unswerving commitment to his fans.”
