New Monthly Folk Event Launches At The Foundry

Get your dancing shoes ready - Paper Shoes Music & The Foundry have put together a new monthly event, The Brisbane Folk Club. 

It kicks off on 2 December and satisfies those mid-week music cravings on first Wednesday of every month, with local favorites Ben Salter, Neighbour and Marcus Blacke kicking off the debut event.

Off the bat of his BIGSOUND performance, Ben Salter, a founding member of Giants Of Science, will be performing songs from his new record The Stars My Destination. 

Also gracing the stage is Neighbour, the new project of Ryan Nebauer (Fushia), who is away from the indie-rock sensibilities of his former band and into true folk singer-songwriter territory. 
 
Gold Coast based singer-songwriter Marcus Blacke rounds out the night with his lyrically-driven songs and southern-style folk guitar.
