New Melbourne Summit CHANGES Announces Music Passport Program
As part of the Victorian Government’s $22.2 million Music Works industry development program.
Now just weeks out from its inaugural event, Melbourne music summit CHANGES has today announced the Music Passport program which will aim to deliver crucial insight into the state of the international music business.
As part of the Victorian Government’s $22.2 million Music Works industry development initiative, the Music Passport program provides a national opportunity for a target country to connect with the Victorian music industry.
Included in the program is Music Passport: Live America — an an expert panel of bookers and talent agents, including Paradigm Talent Agency's Carly James and Our Golden Friend's Lorrae McKenna, who will discuss the burgeoning opportunities and successes of Australian bands venturing to the US.

Other panels featured is Music Passport: Syncing America — discussing licensing and publishing across media in the US — and Music Passport: State Of Play which deals with the the current state of the largest music market in the world from music business consultant Bill Wilson and Christopher Muratore (co-founder of music analytics company BuzzAngle Music).

"The Music Passport stream focuses on supporting local musicians and music businesses to forge international connections and create new opportunities," Minister For Creative Industries, Martin Foley, said.
"I encourage all CHANGES delegates to find out more about the program at this year's summit and explore new ways to ensure your music 'works' in Victoria, and right across the globe."
