Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane will soon welcome a new travelling festival, PRESSURE POINT. Arriving in Australia in March 2027, the event delivers thrilling, chaotic one-day, one-stage takeovers over three days.

The inaugural line-up is headlined by firestarter rapper JPEGMAFIA and pioneering British producer and songwriter and founder of PC Music, A. G. Cook. Both are festival exclusives, and A. G. Cook makes his Australian debut.

The bill also features hardcore punk powerhouse Trash Talk, noise-pop outfit feeble little horse, and local acts such as leftfield punk, hip-hop and jazz group Shady Nasty; emerging post-punk project xiao xiao; and Brisbane producer and DJ FUKHED.

PRESSURE POINT makes its debut at Melbourne’s PICA on Friday, 19 March. It continues at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday, 20 March, and wraps up at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday, 21 March.

A PRESSURE POINT pre-sale opens on Wednesday, 4 November, at 3 pm local time – sign up here for access – ahead of the general sale on Friday, 6 November, at 10 am local time. Plus, $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to Minus18, Australia’s charity that works to improve the lives of LGBTQIA+ young people.

A press release notes that the festival aims to bridge gaps between international and local communities and spotlight leftfield scenes making waves across the globe, from hardcore to post-punk, hip-hop, electronic, and experimental music, all under one roof.
